About Stu
First a painter, then a photographer, now back to painting. Born in Harrisburg, PA, this local artist studied Fine Arts at the York Academy of Art and Illustration at the Philadelphia College of Art.
After college he developed his talents as an award winning newspaper photo-journalist and commercial photographer specializing in advertising and weddings. Stuart now paints with acrylic on canvas.
Drawing on his eye for light and composition, he first captures an image with his camera lens and then lets his mind transform the image in combination with other elements so it comes to life on canvas. Stu has a brilliant talent for telling a unique story in his paintings. His passion for seizing the moment has never failed him and he hopes that you enjoy his adventures.
